The Constitution and Bylaws of FAC


FAC is a scientific organization, constituted by the grouping of all the cardiological societies of the country.
With a clear federalistic sense, FAC is a "Society of Societies", with an equal representation, in which each of one has its autonomy and independence of action.

Since its foundation, the growth of FAC has been continuous; at the beginning 7 societies formed it and nowadays there are 27 and 11 delegations which spread their tasks the whole country.

The Federation is mannaged by The Federal Council and administrated by the National Board of Directors.

The Federal Council has government functions.

The Board of Directors has executive and administrative functions. It rules two years. Its headquarters is rotated among the Associated Societies.

From each Associated Society, there are two delegates that participate in the functions of government in the Federal Council.
