Center of Remote Access of FAC: The Net of FAC

In 1994 was founded a new Department to solve the problem of the dispersion, in the huge argentinian geography, for the all members of The Federation.

CETIFAC - Centro de Teleinformatica de la Federacion Argentina de Cardiologia, is placed in the University of Entre Rios (Universidad Nacional de Entre Rios - UNER), in the campus of the Faculty of Engineering - Bioengineering, in the city of Parana - Entre Rios.

CETIFAC is the main head of the net of FAC, that it would be use for about 3000 cardiologist in the country, and expanded to others medical and paramedical specialties in Argentina and abroad.

This new service, allows solve the problems of comunication that involves the geographycal dispertion, and so, helps to :

to access to a full new bibliography and databases which contains the whole information about FAC and its members.
to access to medical interconsulting between the members of FAC.
to facilitate the development of multicentrical projects in research.
to get E-mail addresses for each member of CETIFAC.
to share files between all members connected to CETIFAC.
to promote and get an easy way to connect people to the "Informatical Highway".

Evenmore, this new national network, allows to:

to show every new technology that the farmaceutical industry and/or the new enterprises in Biomedical areas could be producing day by day.
to multiply all the advertisements from those enterprises which promote our net and this project CETIFAC, and act as our sponsors.
to make the current vademecuns be available.
